Ruettgers & Schuler Civil Engineers INTRODUCTION Ruettgers & Schuler Civil Engineers, established in 1980, is a consulting civil engineering firm specializing in traffic impact and transportation studies, grade separation, and right-of-way engineering. We have provided comprehensive project management for several major grade separation projects in the San Joaquin Valley, for both railroads and highways. The majority of projects we have undertaken involve working directly with public agencies including special districts, cities, counties and the State of California, through their public works or transportation offices. Another key component of our practice is liaison work with major rail transportation companies such as the Union Pacific Railroad and the BNSF Railway. In addition to major facilities projects, Ruettgers & Schuler Civil Engineers has conducted more than five hundred (500) transportation studies in Kern County and the San Joaquin Valley, including traffic impact analysis for major solar and wind energy projects, Master Plan Communities, Major Retail Commercial Developments, and the preparation of project level Major Transportation design studies. Other typical projects include street and highway design, traffic signal design, site design, drainage studies, planning, feasibility studies, utility investigation services, and right-of-way engineering. Our Right-of-Way Department coordinates all aspects of right-of-way acquisition and relocation services. Over the past twenty years, Ruettgers & Schuler Civil Engineers has provided right of way acquisition and relocation services in Kern, Tulare and Fresno Counties and for many cities and special districts in the San Joaquin Valley. |
